Footprint Fudge!

Our favourite Footprint fudge is so easy to make!...

The ingredients

  • 350g dark chocolate (min 70% cocoa solids), chopped

  • 1 x 397g can condensed milk

  • 30g butter

  • Pinch salt

  • 150g mixture of chopped nuts (such as almond and pecans) and dried cranberries

The process

  • Put the chopped chocolate, condensed milk, butter and salt in a heavy based pan on a low heat, and stir to melt.

  • Add the nuts and the dried cranberries to the melted chocolate and condensed milk and stir well to mix.

  • Pour this mixture into a foil tray (or a baking tin lined with foil) 23cm square, and smooth the top.

  • Let the fudge cool, and refrigerate until set. You can then cut it into small pieces.

  • Once cut, it can be kept in the freezer. No need to thaw, just eat straight away. Yum!
